Irish Music

Every Sunday in the main bar we have traditional and session music till close. And Thursday through Sunday we have live acts.
Come and join the craic, or bring your instruments and join in. It goes nicely with the Irish Menu from Harp Bistro.

Set Dancing Classes

We have Irish dancing and set dancing classes at the Harp every Wednesday night from 7.30pm till 9.30pm. Beginners are always welcome. Admission $5. The Harp has now got its own troupe of set dancers. The Cooks River Ceili Band, a group of the best traditional musicians Australia has to offer, play regularly at the Harp on Ceili (Irish dance) nights.

Irish Overseas Acts

In the last few years we have had acts such as The Furey Brothers, Finbar Furey, Andy Irvine, Seamus Begley, Jim Murray, Nomos, Andy M Stewart, Gerry O’Byrne, Martin Hayes, Kila, Lunasa and many more… some of which have already committed themselves to returning to “The Harp” this year .
